In some distro's (I don't know about SuSE right now) you have to update the kernel modules for certain apps.
Everytime I update my kernel, I have to install a new VirtualBox kernel module, and a new nVidia kernel module.
For Fedora you need these installed...
akmod-VirtualBox.x86_64 : Akmod package for VirtualBox kernel module(s)
kmod-VirtualBox.x86_64 : Metapackage which tracks in VirtualBox kernel module for newest kernel
My guess is there is something similar for SuSE. After that's done.. make sure you also install
I wish I could help but I've never had this error...then again I don't have Secure Boot or installed open suse.
Is it possible you didn't install it correctly or your settings are wrong...it may be a problem in Ubuntu but I installed Ubuntu in Virtualbox yesterday without any problems. I did notice from the picture video memory is only 16MB...I set mine to 256MB...I don't use Ubuntu myself.
I tried to create this error in my Ubuntu VM...changed video memory to 16MB...gave one GB of Ram...CPU to one core and a few other things but couldn't get this error...the only thing was it ran much slower.
Anyway I'm too lazy to change the settings back and don't like Ubuntu...so I deleted it...such it life.
