Hi there,
I'am using a Thinkpad E14, Amd Ryzen 5.
I used Ubuntu on this notebook earlier, but some months ago I just installed Debian.
Everything was fine, just the Bluetooth not running but i do not use it so much.
However after two or three week, while in a video call using zoom, and using some video filters, my camera start to glitch, then it just stopped.
I thought for some weeks that it was broken, but some days i opened the cheese app and it came alive again, for some minutes... then stopped again.
In the beginning the light use to shine even with the camera not working... today there is no signal of life.
I really want it back, and don't want to install other system again.
If someone can help it would be nice.
Here are some info.

first have a look online if the camera supports Linux, if yes you could try installing drivers, you could also try install guvcview and trying it on guvcview.

This camera is supported I guess, everything was fine with Kubuntu and even with Debian before the glitches .
I don't know exactly how to install its drivers, but it was working earlier in this OS...
guvcview didn't work, this is the output:

I know this sounds weird, but on a couple of distro's, I've had to install "cheese" in
order to get MS Teams, Zoom, or Discord to work right.

it's installed, doesn't work too.
Try
Code:
sudo apt install pulseaudio-module-jack
reboot
Installed and rebooted, but nothing changed, its receiving the same error messages.

its the integrated camera, so the info I sent is the just the info I know about the camera:
Code:
Vendor: usb 0x5986 "Acer, Inc"
Device: usb 0x212b "Integrated Camera"

What gets me is you have a Lenovo Thinkpad E14 but have an Acer Camera - seems strange to me

Model: "Acer Integrated Camera"
Hotplug: USB
Vendor: usb 0x5986 "Acer, Inc"
Device: usb 0x212b "Integrated Camera"

Maybe the camera is locked. Try pressing Fn+F6 (or whatever the camera lock/unlock button is located on your keyboard).

there is no such hot key on the keyboard, but there is an analogical cam cover, but every time I test the camera I make sure that it is open.
