Why does it actually take so long for it to be available, it was released on march?
I use Debian 11 and I tried to install it from the experimental rep, but it gave random errors. So, I'm waiting for the stable version.

Mixing stable with experimental is a very bad idea. I use Debian 11 too, but I don't use Gnome, I use Plasma. Looking here https://people.debian.org/~fpeters/gnome/debian-gnome-40-status.html I can see this

I'd enable bullseye-backports and wait a little longer. https://packages.debian.org/bullseye-backports/gnome/
