Why people don't mark their solved threads as SOLVED?

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a nice life and a wonderful 2020! :)

I've noticed that there are a significant number of threads which have been solved and yet authors/users haven't marked them as such. I think it would be easier for other people who might want to find a solution for their issues if said solution was marked as such. There should be a notice somewhere on the site reminding people to do that once their problem has been fixed, maybe something like that one which asks you to receive notifications and even though you click on "never ask again" it always does lol well, something like that but saying "remember to mark your thread as solved once it is" :)

Perhaps their lazy and just don't give a crap.

Perhaps they didn't realize they could or should.

Perhaps they're not exercising those little grey cells of the brain to mark their post solved.

SOLVED!

Don't blame the users. There has never been any instruction or recommendation to mark the threads on this forum. It's not really a big deal. Something may be "solved" this week, and with the next kernel update it is broken again (or for whatever other reason). UEFI has shipped on PC's for about a decade, and we still can't effectively and efficiently "solve" those problems (too many UEFI variations between OEM's). Most people don't search the forum first anyway, so they don't know that there may be a solution here already... and they also don't realize they are asking the same questions time and time again. :(
