Hello i am a new linux user and i bought this laptop to start using mx linux.
I have heard people are having problems finding and installing the sound and wifi drivers for this chipset. Will i need to install any additional drivers for my config? or will it all work by default? please help!

G'day nafees.adil, and Welcome to linux.org

if you have already 'burnt' the mx linux iso to a usb stick.....simply boot the pc to that usb stick

Doing that will not install linux....it will instead run it from your ram. Doing that is referred to as running it "Live"

However it runs there will give you a truly accurate idea of how it will run when it is installed properly on your hard drive

Hi & Welcome to Linux.org.

One way to find out if MX Linux will work on your laptop is to boot it up and see if it see's the wifi card and if it has sound.

The command to run in the terminal and to find out if MX see the wifi card is:
lspci | grep -i network

Run that and see what it returns.

cheap hardware you bought with that chip in it was made by a company that didn't bother to get their custom drivers certified by microsoft for windows update.

Really ??....we dont really give a fig about drivers certified for windows update around here....:D

Hi , i also have this laptop in os problem which linux is best for this laptop?

You will most likely have to test which distro will work on it.
I'd start with Linux Mint and see if it see's your wifi card first and if you have sound.

You may wish to take a look at my post here:

It does not specifically address the sound and wifi drivers but is relevant to Intel Atom and driver issues.
