Hi,
Ubuntu 18-4-5 LTS. Gnome 3.28.2 Dell Inspiron 15. AMD® A6-9225 radeon r4, 5 compute cores 2c+3g × 2
couple of days ago the wifi became unstable. It dropped off after 15 minutes of use, and when I tried switching off from the applet at top right, the wifi simbol disappeared altogether. This happened after a cold boot , until then it had been functioning well. Rebooting brings the applet back, but again will only last for a few minutes. Oddly, the Bluetooth also stopped functioning at the same time. I have been able to restart BT by entering sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth start and sudo systemctl enable bluetooth
and BT seems to be fine after reboot. Don’t know what to do about wifi. This is what I got as far as ethernet/wifi:
*-network
description: Ethernet interface

From rfkill:

0 bluetooth hci0 unblocked unblocked
1 wlan phy0 blocked unblocked

From lspci:
14:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL810xE PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 07)
16:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 3165 (rev 79)

So it looks like I have an Intel 3165 wireless interface ( same as driver?) I guess I might try to reinstall that, (Ethernet works fine) but I have no idea how to do it. Any suggestion? Thanks.
