you have bullseye-updates-main listed 3 times hence the error

to install Wine on Debian go here https://wiki.winehq.org/Debian
getting it from the repos is outdated I think it is 8 when 9 is most current and supports more Windowz Apps

I will replace my list with yours. Should I add ''s'' to all http on your list?

I don't do that I keep as Debian put it out, been using Debian/Devuan now my own Expirion for 14 years and never had a software issue from the repos
i also modified my last post #26

Thank you man
that is due to the fact that you have a capital U it should be lower case - should be
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
Cheers

I try to run an .exe file and I got this error:

it looks like wine32 is missing, you should install it.
multiarch needs to be enabled first. as root, please
execute "dpkg --add-architecture i386 && apt-get update &&
apt-get install wine32"

wine32 does not exist in synaptic, only wine64
LINUX IS NOT WINDOZE... before you try to use wine on something you should exhaust every effort to find a native linux program that does the same thing. Other than custom windoze software I have not had to install wine or any windoze programs in linux. The few things I find I need windoze I use a VM

I just copied it from Brickwizard's post, this is not censure, we all something miss sometimes, Thank you all... Wine32 still nowhere to be found

The simple thing to do is check the Wine database for what works and what doesn't work In Wine - https://appdb.winehq.org/

wine 32 is not available in Debian/Devuan have to get it from WineHQ see my post #26

That particular program I try to run is written and compiled by me so I trust it. For everything else I use alternatives years now

if the program is yours, why not rewrite in native linux? Gambas is a great alternative to visual studio.

re your synaptic package manager not showing wine32 etc

Code:
sudo apt-get install synaptic.

I have lost the source code, I only have the binary, and I have done some very hard things back then, I solved difficult problems, it contains code that I don't fully understand. So I don't have the guts to rewrite it

, it contains code that I don't fully understand
It may be possible that the syanptic package manager is corrupted/altered as a result ?......I am not saying it is ....but it is very unusual to have wine32 missing.
Do you have a backup of the OS (I am assuming Linux Mint 21.3 ??)

It is Debian 11 and I don't have backup no...
