I am a ubuntu 21.04 user.
I buy a wireless pen from Asus usb N13 C1.
In the installation CD there is software to Linux.
I try install it but without success.
I contact Asus,by mail, and they said the pen only works with kernel 2.6.18~5.1.
So as ubuntu has kernel 5.11 the pen does not work
I ask--is that possible?
many thanks

Hi.. not familiar with this product and nowhere do asus give details of the chipset..so
in a terminal type inxi -fnxz [inxi space-fnxz]copy the output for the whole of the network section and paste here [it may give us a clue]

I think the RealTek 8192 is Ethernet not Wifi.

It would be interesting to see the output of lsusb.

@dos2unix
hi .. this product from what i have found over the last 24 hrs, has been a problem since its release as the original N13 [around 2012] they all have different Realtek chipsets C1 is the latest version, and the same problem has been asked for support across various forums from Mint , Centos, Debian and more, but I have not found a working solution on any of them on this latest version,
oh the RTL8192FU drivers, appear to be the correct ones for this dongle
