I'm in need of help using my xbox one s controller that I can't get to work via usb or bluetooth.
I'm running Manjaro KDE on 5.7.0-3.
When I connect via usb, the controller rumbles but the xbox light does not stop blinking to indicate a connection. It then does not work in games or appear under gamepad in the input device settings of KDE. When I connect via bluetooth, the bluetooth manager briefly shows me connected, but then it disappears.
I soon discovered I needed xpad drivers which I proceeded to install via pamac (do I need to use the terminal?). That didn't work so I installed xpadneo drivers which didn't help so I installed xboxdrv drivers. These were the ones that I found online should help. I would reboot between installs, but the same things would occur via bluetooth or usb.
Here is what usb devices are seen with the controller plugged in:
sudo lsub
