so i'm trying to start a minecraft server and im useing the newset verison 1.20.6 and i keep gettting this error everytime.
Error: LinkageError occurred while loading main class net.minecraft.bundler.Main
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/minecraft/bundler/Main has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 65.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 62.0

i have openjdk-18-jre so im wondering what to do right now.

I used to host a minecraft server about 5 years ago and I remember it being rather annoying. When I switched to paper, which also has better security and performance, most of my issues were gone.
