KDE

Got that sorted and at this point I have to say all good. Feels great. Actually it feels a bit Mintish in respect of just getting the job done in an uncomplicated way. I am most impressed.

Nice desktop wallpaper in your screenshot.:)
That's a much higher version of the kernel being used than I anticipated.

Don't forget to update your new system since the fresh installation.
Thanks for the info.

I am/was most impressed with Ubuntu KDE. After researcing (reading) about KDE itself i thought i might check out KDE Neon. From what i was led to believe it is better than Ubuntu. Well they were right. I installed it and to me there is a dramatic improvement over Ubuntu. Much more fluid. Maybe Plasma 6 plays a part, who knows. So that is where i sit now. If anyone is thinking about Neon i highly recommend it. Who knows what tomorrow may bring. Cheers for now.

Hi @noelw,
Glad your liking KDE - My favorite DE. You may also want to give Tuxedo OS3 a spin nice KDE 6 platform built on Ubuntu base. I'm currently using Debian kde 5.27.5 because it's just stable. And works with my old stuff out of the box.
In any event enjoy!
