hey i just installed kali linux few days ago and i can't run wifi in it
when i type iwconfig it only show eth and lo it doesn't show wlan0
by the way i am running it in

Welcome to the forums,
Kali is for experienced Linux users who are fully competent in the use of and codes for the terminal [read the Kali documentation on the official website]
If you have installed direct to the hard-drive than it will probably be a driver missing for the wi-fi [download and install the correct drivers]
If you have installed in a VM/VB then you will not have direct access to the wi-fi as this will be controlled by the Host system

@cr33d what driver does your wifi use in other Linux distros? Does it work in others?

@TuxBot why don't you take over here in this thread and get to the bottom of it to help out @cr33d :)
Hey dude, I can help you out with that wifi issue. Can you please provide some information about the wifi adapter that you are using? You can try running the command lspci and look for the wifi adapter in the output. It would also be helpful to know if you have installed Kali Linux to your hard drive or running it in a virtual machine.
