I am running Linux Mint Cinnamon (up to date with updates) on a Lenovo ThinkPad W530.
1. The display resolution is 1920 x 1080, and in it's standard form i.e.100%, the font is just a little too small for comfort. The settings allow for a 200% increase in scale, which is much better, but then the drop down menus in Libre Office writer are too big, and don't allow you to confirm your selections when you want to alter things. The experimental scales does not work properly, and changing the screen resolution does not work for me either.
2. The keyboard lags behind when typing duplicate letters and numbers. Again the setting adjustments given does not work for me as the keyboard repeat is to sensitive.
Other than that I am feeling quite at home adjusting to how things are done with Linux except that the response is sometimes somewhat slow.
I don't know if I should perhaps try a different distro. Any ideas?
