Getting CRC32 value for bzImage as ffffffff

For my project requirement I need unique CRC values for two different bzImages, but getting the "ffffffff" for both images.
On different forums I have seen that this is a generic behavior for image type "uImage: Linux kernel x86 boot executable bzImage"
Has there been any patch for this.
