I have just set up Ubuntu 20.10 on my Raspberry Pi 4 (4GB RAM) and am trying to install Veracrypt 1.25.9. I have downloaded "veracrypt-1.25.9-Ubuntu-20.04-amd64.deb" into my Downloads directory. I then open the file with Software Installer, click on Install and enter my password. A short time later a popup displays

Unable to install veracrypt:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:

No packages are listed.

My WiFi is though my cell phone hotspot. In Ubuntu Settings>Wi-Fi>Cell Phone Settings, Metered connection is unchecked.

Where do I go from here? Is there another way to install Veracrypt with a GUI into Ubuntu 20.10 that will work?

Navigate to your downloads directory in terminal then do:
Code:
apt install veracrypt-1.25.9-Ubuntu-20.04-amd64.deb

*puts on his official Ubuntu hat*

20.10 is EOL and you will have all sorts of trouble installing software - 'cause the servers that had the 20.10 software have been shut down.

20.10 is known as an interim release and has support for just 9 months.

Try again with a supported operating system.
