Multi-distro laptop

Just got my paws on a laptop and wanted to put a few distros on it.

Mint 17.1
Kali 1.1
BioLinux 8.0
CaeLinux 2013
Gentoo

I would like to put all of these on the same laptop. Not sure how to go about this.

I have most of the iso files needed. First, how would I convert these to live install CDs?

Second, how do I partition my hard drive?

Third, is there a best order to install these?

Thanks

Putting Linux on a disk is simple.

Your first problem will be partitioning. With each distribution taking at least one partition..you have 5 which is one more than the standard MBR partition scheme allows. So if you want them all on one disk you will have to use GPT. This also means that you need EFI boot capability. Does the laptop support EFI? After that Secureboot is the next worry. You will have to turn that off.

Is there a best? Thats sort of like asking is Red better than Blue. No one will give you the "correct" answer because it is you OPINION. Choose the distribution that works for you. Try them out live to see if you like them. Make YOUR OWN OPINION. There IS NO BEST.

With that in mind. Let us know the specs of the laptop and we can give you further guidance.

And welcome to the forums!!! :)

the process for install kali is not so critical. it is very easy process and only needs proper guidence and some small time. a small mistake can harm your laptop. you can follow this video. video made in may 2015 so there are less chances of error and tested on windows platform. please go to
