I have a problem with my second monitor that doesn't use 4k directly. I think the problem has to the with the DP to HDMI adapter that I have to use here, because it doesn't happen on the other one which just uses a HDMI connection. I set up the xorg.conf file in /ect/X11/ correctly, but my Linux somehow doesnt know 4k is supported by the monitor, the highest resolution I can use is always 1080p until I disconnect the device and reconnect it again.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
