Switching Distro

Hi guys.
I currently use ubuntu and am thinking about switching to fedora does anyone know how to switch and keep all of my files and stuff

The link Poorguy suggests is the info I'd suggest. I've written several threads on here about this in t, he past. While almost all the distros are defaulted to use the entire disk as your root directory, it's not the best setup. It's the easiest for newbies, but even newbies should be directed to learn the s an avid Linux user for about 12 years and would definitely pull my hair out if I had to lose my home drive every time i upgraded or switched distros. So migrate your data to a new home partition, then during every install tell Linux to mount it to /home and don't format.
