Ubuntu boot-Error- cannot mount (hard drive )disc access from outside

What does this mean? I booted my computer and it couldn't start Ubuntu- gave error message saying disc accessed from outside. What could have happened to get that message? I had to reinstall Ubuntu. This message came in the bios section while booting. Thanks.

What type of computers do you have? Processor? Ubuntu version? Where and how did you get the disc?

I would look through the bios options and make sure that the disc drive is made boot-able.
