Hello ... :)

REASON: What has kept me (Windows-User) from switching to Linux so far, are the marginal options to set own system event tones.

Years ago (2013) I found SLAX 7.8 with KDE Plasma. That only one, but similarly extensive
system sounds mapping offers, like Windows. SLAX 7.8 getting older,
and the SLAX (Debian) successors offer nothing comparable.

QUESTION: In the meantime there may be a Linux, that have system sound profiles or design / icons / cursors / complete sound packages like on Windows?
System Sound packages alone would be enough for me. :)

Thank you, cheers (sorry for my ''denglish'')

What is it exactly you want to achive? If you mean geeting sounds notifications, some distro with KDE Plasma might be what you're looking for, read here for more info https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=141332 For instance, may I suggest Q4OS? https://www.q4os.org/downloads1.html I've been playing with it for a couple of months and even though I don't really use that feature it is there. Q4OS with KDE is quite a nice distro; friendly on resources and based on Debian stable.

Hope this helps! :)

Yes, I want to hear the system breathing. Every action should have a specified tone. I want to be able to hear what the system do, with my eyes closed, just with sounds. (I have been using this option on windows for more than 20 years.)

And thank You, I will try Q4OS. :)

BTW: Today's found ...
Smooth - complete system sound theme with 58 event sounds
