    Yes, Mate, but you have to boot through BIOS, I recall. Jerry Bezencon (developer) says he will never support UEFI.

    Thanks for the warning, wizardous one. I will post a request for advice once the post brings my CD, assuming they bring it. From the Linux Lite shop site it sounds like some of their shipments have got lost in the international mail.

    I got Linux Lite going from the CD now, and there is an option on the desktop to install it, but I will proceed with caution.
