Yes, but only until it takes up the whole drive!

I wasn't aware of this until months ago.....a new purchase for an external drive just for Timeshift is on the shopping list.

i keep 2 Boot, 1Hr, 1Daily, 1 Weekly and 1 Monthly.

I keep just 4 daily snapshots......more than enough if you keep an eye on what you are doing

Timeshift IS our friend. IF configured correctly. Do NOT use default settings. Read up on it before first use. Please.

I gave the whole tower of DVD's away years ago.
In fact, the desktop I built a few years back doesn't have a cdrom drive.

I always have a DVD burner...very handy for my music CDs and DVD movies as you can't buy most of them these days.

I recently put my 18 Beatle CDs on to a Flash Drive...can't scratch a Flash Drive.

Yes it is...but it's not your only friend...so is Foxclone.

I have Timeshift setup to take two daily snapshots and every week or so I'll remove all but the most recent two...that's all you need.
