I'm getting the replacement laptop Sunday. My question is:
Can I clone my present hard drive directly to the replacement laptop using like a NIC cable?
My present configuration is Mint Cinnamon and runs flawlessly.
I want to clone it to the replacement laptop which comes with Windows 11, I want to eliminate Useless Windows.
Both laptops are Dells.
Been looking at Foxclone but would prefer to skip the middleman and clone it right to the laptop directly.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thank You

Probably be quicker, & easier, to just install afresh to the other laptop.

SImple as can be

It works...beautifully

Clone from one pc......restore to another

if this machine is under a year old you could have problems with drivers for latest Wi-fi / Graphic/sound.

I agree, was just thinking that what I have now I'm really happy with, and would like to carry on with it. But you are correct.
Thanks Much
