Hi Andrew! Welcome to Linux.org!
Here is a good place to start. Right on Dell's website, access to the proper driver is there as well.

sudo apt-get -y gdebi
G'day @andrewm1987 and welcome to linux.org
Download from here
https://www.dell.com/support/home/au/en/audhs1/product-support/product/dell-3110cn/drivers
I think they are .zip files.
In Debian, from your File Manager, choose "Open With" and see what are the options, could be Archive Manager.
If the file/s are .deb, you can use GDebi which is either on your install, or if not can be installed with
Code:sudo apt-get -y gdebi
If files are of a kind ending with .rpm we can convert them with a small utility called Alien.
I actually have as one of my two main printers ... a 3110cn.

The 3100 is very close but may lose some functionality.
