I had the same problem to install Linux via USB. I recommend that you see the installation and download guide of Universal Usb Installer from: https://universalusbinstaller.com. To me it has gone very well, in a short time I had installed the Linux and without any kind of problem. I hope my help is worth it. A greeting!
