Ran into a situation and I am wondering if someone could help me out here.
Have 14.04.2 in and when I turn my laptop on for POST, it takes me to the splash screen so I can enter my password and decrypt the drive for regular boot up. Well, the splash screen is not appearing. I can enter the password and it will continue to boot and run fine, but it's a blank screen. I was wondering if anyone knew how to regain it using Plymouth or whatever means necessary. I've tried mods in GRUB but to no avail.
