File transfer from Reseller to VPS

So I was wondering what the easiest way was to download and reupload the files from the reseller

would it like be possible to download them to the new server via ftp so I wouldn't save them to my machine or would I have to save them and then reupload them

and if it is possible please can someone give me the code?
