Help installing Blender

so I'm not the most savvy with Linux or archiving packages. but am I able to unpack the Blender package using Arch Linux? I just want to know if I can and if I cant where I should go. Thanks!

You can install blender from the Arch community repo, you have to enable the repo first in your pacman configuration.

Arch Linux - blender 17:3.5.0-5 (x86_64)
