How long have you been using linux?

I've actually been using Linux for a few years now. It all started when someone I used to know online told me about Ubuntu. I wasn't really sure what it meant. Well I didn't get the idea of a free OS. Anyways I had a tower left over that I could mess around with. My first distribution was Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. I loved how wonderful and seamless everything felt. I'm not currently using Ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx and I plan to continue using Ubuntu until I hate. I doubt I'll ever hate it though.

Anyways how long have you been using Linux?

Started with RH 9.0 but was a Windows admin for years until I got up to speed enough to administer linux as a daily job.

This should be my fifth year using Linux fully. That's not counting previous flirtations, so to say. This time it's a serious relationship. Kind of like a 'till death do us part' commitment. Can we say 'Smash all the Windows!'?
