I was just checking out what network controllers I have in my desktop system since I bought a new system several months ago. That I saw that I have these two in my system.
I never realized I had a Mediatek wireless adapter in my system. I remembered several topics of people having issues with this adapter.
I just wanted to share for that this wifi adapter works without issues for me and I just thought I would share it here so it can be find that this wireless adapter does work under Linux.
I'm running the following kernel.
Before I changed to a new kernel I was using "6.6.x" and it was working then too. So maybe if you are having issues with this wireless adapter try upgrading your kernel to 6.6x or above.
Using the following linux-firmware version: 20240610
Code:
0b:00.0 Network controller: MEDIATEK Corp. MT7921K (RZ608) Wi-Fi 6E 80MHz
