issue with Zimbra 8.8.15 installation in Ubuntu server 20.04

Hi guys, Im having this issue when trying the installation of zimbra 8.8.15 in Ubuntu server 20.04.

This https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases/8.8.15 and this https://zimbra.github.io/installguides/latest/single.html#System_Requirements speaks about 18.04.

the 18, 20 and 22 stands for 2018, 2020 and 2022 (the year).

18 is VERY VERY old. Thats extremely weird.

I would try to install it on a 22.04 and if that doesn't work I'd rather recommend to choose another groupware.

there are "guides" on howto install zimbra on 22.04 but none of them mention the version https://nesva.net/tutorial/how-to-install-zimbra-on-ubuntu-22-04

@newer are you setting up a NEW zimbra or are you migrating from an old version?

If you setup a new one and you dont have old data to migrate, definitely go with 22.04 I think, and maybe choose

that version isnt LTS but from what i remember administrating zimbra (almost 10 years ago) the upgrades are kinda doable.

I'd recommend doing a snapshot of your zimbra server, then test-upgrading that snapshot and taking notes, and only after that doing the live instance, or even better

a) stop old zimbra
b) take snapshot
c) snapshot -> new server
d) upgrade new server
e) switch DNS or even better, switch the public IP to the new server
