Hello. I would like to know if it is worth going to Pop os or to Linux Mint, I never tested it and I want to go because of its advantages, I would like to know if it runs games, programming and stream.

Yes, most Linux distros are able to handle all of that, of course, depending on your hardware, some things might not work as you expect them to. Download them

Burn them to a USB stick
Try them in Live mode

You can repeat the process and try other distros if Mint or Pop don't meet your expectations and needs

Hope this helps! :)

While I'm sure Pop OS is decent for what it is, I haven't tried it out yet because I haven't felt any reason to. I'm currently running Mint 19.3, and the games that come preloaded with it all suck IMO. There's gaming platforms you can download, but unless want to play online and don't mind being beholden to the platform, I'd recommend buying physically-released games that will play on Linux. Here's a list compiled from Everipedia (which aims to be a better version of Wikipedia): https://everipedia.org/wiki/lang_en/List_of_Linux_games

As for programming, go to the software manager or synaptic package manager, and you'll find a list of programming software. I haven't used them because programming requires you to be technical-oriented, and I'm artistic-oriented. I also haven't used any of the streaming software because I see streaming as a form of surveillance and loss of control over the content a person consumes.
