Hi,

I am using an ASUS FX533V with UEFI, with Windows and Linux Mint in dual boot. I downloaded Virtual Box and then tried to install Kali Linux in it but got this error message

By the way, I also got a message from Linux saying that my download of Kali Linux was malware...strange, since I downloaded from the official website and did sha256sum check on it.

Can anyone help me setting up Kali Linux properly?
These are the specs of my Linux system:

EDIT: The problem is with a module from VirtualBox that can't be installed on your Linux Mint Host. As the error shows, this may be due to Secure Boot being enabled and the module lacking a trusted signature.

If that is the case, the problem has 2 solutions (disabling Secure Boot or signing the module), but before jumping into their details we need to see if that may be the problem.

Can you run this and post the output of the command? This will tell us the state of secure boot (enabled or not) in your system.

mokutil --sb-state
