Recently I’ve been attempting a dual boot on my PC with windows / Linux mint but every time the install finishes and attempt to boot into the new OS I get an issue with grub. It’s just a blank screen with GRUB _ flashing.
I tried to dual boot both kali and mint but both are giving me the same issue so I don’t believe it to be the installation media, I have also cleared all previous UEFI entries and been sure to have it connected to Ethernet throughout the install.
The only thing I can really think of is somehow my windows partition I encrypted with veracrypt is affecting the boot loader but I don’t see how because I’m installing Mint onto a different partition.
