Ubuntu 22.04 jammy
That is what the linux is based on....although that doesnt ring true/correct.......the latest Linux Mint (LM22, Wilma) is supposed to be base on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Where did the download come from ?

That is where my download came from as well

That will teach me

That may why I am having problems with an install from that same place.....

I didnt think to dun an inxi on it

Thats a good find, Noel

I'd better let Dave from Maine know about that, he mentioned it a couple of days ago.

Done.

That was a good find, Noel......simply because the description line should have read :

Distro: Linux Mint 22 Wilma base: Ubuntu 22.04 jammy

Distro: Linux Mint 22 Wilma: base Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

I see you found that info in System on the fake LM22

I must remind myself to do the same in future.

@wizardfromoz's observation that it is not listed on Distro Watch yet, is also a good indicator.

I just went to the NLUUG website and cannot find the link there

I've just been there and it is still there.

Maybe us Aussies are running around in circles?

Clem's blog might reveal.

me blind !

I was fiddling around with it on the spare ssd this morning....and was going to post that I found zero difference in setting up two monitors with it.

Apart from that I was having trouble seeing any real differences.....not that I spent a great deal of time.

Stan did say he could see precious little difference. Eagle eyed Stan !

Maybe yes, maybe no :)

I've posted at Clem's place, we'll see what comes of it.

Our erstwhile friend mentioned above also said there was a new app...Matrix......

and sure enough it is there

The plot thickens !

This morning, the plot is a pea souper !!!!

The below screenshot was taken from the OFFICIAL beta release by linuxmint.com.....from 'system'
