[Problem Solved] Mint 21.3 Cinnamon 6.0.4 Codec/s to play .avi vid

Code:
sudo apt update && sudo apt install mint-meta-codecs

Copy and paste that command from above into your terminal.

The code is correct.

I run it on mine and I see the below:

brian@brian-desktop:~$ sudo apt update && sudo apt install mint-meta-codecs

I tried again. This time Success. See below.
I also found my old (shudder) Windows 10 SSD. Fired it up and tried to run the .avi movie. Result? Same error code. Now I reckon that the movie is corrupt. I was sure that it worked first time I tried it but then again... Will contact my nephew to see if this happened to him also. Whew. Thanks for your help Condo.

Hi everyone. Hope you all can see this post. I found my old (shudder) Windows 10 SSD. Fired it up and tried to run the .avi movie. Result? Same error code. Now I reckon that the movie is corrupt. I was sure that it worked first time I tried it but then again... Will contact my nephew to see if this happened to him also. Thank you everyone. Cheers John
