problem gettin harddrive with linux to run on new motherboard can anyone help

I usually do the fsck command (as the very first thing) when I move my HDD to a different board and it's always worked like magic.

You don't say what problem you are having.

Does the Mobo run POST checks ok?
Is a hard drive detected in the Bios?
You don't say if this is the only HDD in the system. Is the Mobo set to boot from correct HD?

What do you see on the screen when boot is attempted?

Are you running two computers, trying to swap hdd back and forth or what?
In any case, you will need this proprietary linux driver
