OP G grash Guest Mar 8, 2013 #2 Well it depends... Did you have linux on it before it stopped booting? If it's a Windows only PC then no linux won't help. Use your Windows DVD.

OP M McCody Guest Mar 8, 2013 #3 try to repair using Hiren's boot CD.... I recommended to backup your Hard disk using Linux Live CD and then switch to the linux or windows again after installation...
