Do you want to make a GUI, or have a GUI to make something?

No OOP? You can program Linux in Java, C++ and Python - and many others. For example http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/2819

Linux is not difficult, but many people want it to be like Windows. Linux is Linux. Windows is Windows. Linux is not Windows. Windows is not Linux.

People do not understand that they might have been "learning" Windows for years. If they spent as much time on Linux they would know it.

Linux should be made so to allow every man easy handle with it!

Well, that covers a very wide variety of people, from absolute beginners to developers. There are hundreds of varieties of Linux to suit everyone. They just need to find out what is best for them and their computer.

Here is a link I like which shows that Linux is good not only because it is free. Obviously your first language is Latvian. The site has translations to Lithuanian and Estonian, but not Latvian. Do you read Russian? Click the flags at the top. http://www.whylinuxisbetter.net/

@Blackneo940 it is based on Debian Sid so updating can be a little unpredictable. If you want to try Bbq may be try a newer spin. I have had Roasted Roach running for a long time and updated. Sid has many changes so if you install be aware of borkage.

'K..... :3 I'll run it in a VM, so I can test things out..... :) And since it's based on Debian, it seems like it's stable..... :3 I have Roaches where I live, so..... :(
