LOL If you look around, there's probably more than two dramatically declaring this the worst release ever.
The same things happens with pretty much everything, including Windows.
The only thing I can really complain about is the increased dependency on Snaps. However, they gave us ample warning that Snap dependencies would be increasing and not the other way around.
I can understand why they'd do that. In a way, I think it might be good for the long-term Linux ecosystem. I guess you can even get a real Notepad++ Snap, 'cause someone found a clever way to include WINE in it. While that seems excessive, the idea is pretty sound. If it turns out to be a bad idea, Ubuntu will react to that. It's not the first time they've tried something new and then changed their mind when it turned out to be a bad/unwelcome idea.
