Has anyone had any success using Kite for programming with Python on Linux Mint?

Hi Edward and welcome to linux.org :)

I am not a programmer, so I have just a few observations, and hopefully someone will be along soon whom can give further input.

I hope that Kite has cleaned up its act a little since this article

https://qz.com/1043614/this-startup...-you-do-not-piss-off-open-source-programmers/

Also, at the end of that, quite long, article is reference to a fork, which if you skip the link to Twitter can be found here

https://www.reddit.com/r/Python/comments/6pi5qf/autocompletepythonjedi_the_fork_of/

Have you tried Jedi and if so, what did you think of it?

You could also let us know which version of Mint you are using, down to the DE (Desktop Environment) eg MATE, Cinnamon, Xfce.

Good luck
