I like Wattos. It only uses the Debian Repositories, so it is more of a customization. It has no Repository of its own. Small and very useful.

Thanks for sharing, Alan.

I spotted it on DistroWarch the other day.

Might download it and take it for a spin.

Cheers

Are you running it in a vm or have it installed by chance?

If so, how's the functionality and gpu performance been?

Installed it on one of my laptops. (I have several.)
Must admit I found R12, which I updated to Debian 12, seemed better.
I am still tinkering with R13, and it will probably improve.
Don't have a dedicated GPU, just using integral.

Thanks for the details.
You didn't mention how long ago you performed the fresh install.
Has WattOS been stable so far?

One gets one chance to make a first impression. This WattOS felt incomplete the last time I tried it. I don't remember how it was but I hurried to take it down for something else. Now that it's based on "Bookworm" I'm not enthused. Tempted instead by Lernstick but that should be a big ISO.

Not to rain on the parade, but it didn't work on my computer.

I wish I could remember and usefully reply here. I guess Debian "Bookworm" base was an opportunity to work and make the distro better.
