Making your own VPN is quite easy and is very reliable on it's own. I suggest you unplug your router and plug it back in first, because mostly all of the routers now are dynamic routers, it will automatically reset your IP once reset. So reset your router, end the subscription, and if you do not wish to script your own VPN, go to PIA (Private Internet Access) and buy that, it's quite cheap and has really never had any issues.
