My pc spec: i7 5820k cpu, 32gb ram, titan xp gpu. Play alot of games on win10pro OS. I am also learning blender and Hitfilms (video editing/movie making software). Never used linux but learned dos back before windows.
Timeshift? Your using big words on me. I will learn/figure it out.Put one Linux on (eg Linux Mint, has Timeshift) - dualboot if you wish, then get yourself a few USB sticks, or just one stick 16GB to 32GB and I'll show you how to try up to 10 at a time, to see what best suits you in the long term.
