When I hold the "esc" key, it just procceds to boot, but without showing the logo, its like stuff going on the screen quickly, (just like when you do something in terminal) and then it goes to the lock screen, "shift" does nothing for me.

I just tried that, it tries to connect for a while, then it says "Connection Failed". I have entered the SSID and the WPA password, but yet nothing.

I have no idea how to do that. As I said I am new to Linux.

Yes I can different options pop up like ethernet, wifi etc.

No they don't, only 2.4G shows up.

I have a vodafone router with 2 connections (2.4G and 5G) (just keep that in mind as you read this post) So when I installed linux mint like 3 days ago, I connected to both 2.4G and 5G connections and it seemed that they both worked just fine, starting from 2 days ago, only 2.4G is showing up...

I use an HP laptop, its model is 14s-fq0003nv. It does not have a touch screen, I am talking about touchpad finger gestures.

On windows when I used two fingers to zoom in and out it worked and it zoomed into any webpage I was at. Here at linux this doesn't work. Maybe someone can help me enable such a feature?

I have a Bluetooth mouse and when I connect it with linux mint it kinda lags while moving it on the screen, I am sure it is charged. Mousepad works fine it moves the mouse smoothly, but it doesnt move well with my mouse. Can anyone help me fix it?

So I have a file called "install.cmd" which in windows need to be run with administrator, when I run it with wine it says in the terminal "Run this program as administrator". Can someone help me install this program?

I'm aware it is not in the program list, nor in the wine tab in the menu. The only way it can be found is though the folder "Downloads".

No it is not an installer it is just a game that I have and I used to run on windows, here I run it with wine. It is in the downloads folder when I click it, it opens with wine normally, there is not such thing on the wine tab in the menu.

Hello, I have an .exe file that i run with wine but it is in the downloads folder, is there any way to make a shortcut to the desktop and when i click it it opens with wine? I've already tried to make a launcher (from right clicking on the desktop) but when I opened the app wine said it was not...

I just want it to look like you're hacking or something. Just like when you install an app from the terminal.

So when I boot my Linux mint 21.2 machine it boots with that normal mint logo and the green spinning circle, can someone tell me how to make it boot like it's shown in that video below?
