Welcome to the forums, How old is your machine? I am wondering if you may need legacy drivers.
Can you install inxi to your Alpine, and run from the terminal inxi -Nnz copy and paste back the results
This dosen't tell us which drivers [if any] are installed, whereas inxi Nn will
[inxi should be in your software manager]
my driver is mt7061u, maybe this will help
