Hello,

i installed eAccelerator on server and after around 1 hour i see it already created 4GB of data in /tmp/eaccelerator

I want to ask what are these data good for? prunning them like hourly? I would rather save disk io and have it all in memory..

there is configuration option of eaccelerator, does it disable file caching?

eaccelerator.shm_only
Enable or disable caching of compiled scripts on disk. This has no effect on session data and content caching. Default value is "0" which allows eAccelerator to use disk and shared memory cache for scripts.

eaccelerator.shm_only = "0"
