I would just reinstall your system, kind of getting the idea that script you ran plus probably some actions you did after wards left your system in an inconsistent state which it warned for. Also do not install pip using that script again, instead use the package manager: apt-get install python-pip

Thanks for the help all the same, I've reinstalled the system and managed to install pip through the package manager with no errors, now i just have to reinstall all my tools :)
