How to connect Ubuntu to TV with hdmi

Hi everyone

Im trying to connect my computer to the smartTV but unfortunately the TV doesn't detect a signal.
when I connect it to the monitor there is no problem
using ubuntu 20.04

Check your TV input settings. You probably need to change it from it's usual setting for watching TV.

Every time I've done this, even on modern televisions, I've had to change the input source on the TV in order to make it work. Like HDMI1, HDMI2, up to HDMI4 - depending on your TV and the slot you're plugged into.
