Very New to the Game

Welcome
depending on how far down the path you have trodden, start from basics by reading the 3 first post above yours in this forum,
we have a range of tutorials found at https://www.linux.org/forums/#linux-tutorials.122 additional tutorials can be found on our sister site https://linux-tips.us

this is a good intro, which I often suggest..

that should keep you busy for a short while

I would recommend installing one of the more popular Linux distributions, like Ubuntu or Mint. You will be more likely to find others that use the same thing that way. Aside from that, Brickwizard is right. You came to the right place. Welcome to the club. You'll be knowledgeable before you know it.

welcome to the tribe.

The graphical user interface (where you click things) on Ubuntu / Mint doesn't require you to learn anything, its mostly intuitive.

Learn the basics about the command line from a youtube video and then try to do more and more with the command line over time.

G'day Tachry, Welcome to Linux.org

What we need to know is....what will you run Linux on ? if a laptop, make and model and ram and hdd etc

If a desktop, similar info.....ram, hdd or ssd size etc

The most straightforward distro to use is Linux Mint. (version 21.3)

You can get a taste of Mint by booting your pc to a 'bootable' thumb drive,,,,,,it will run quite happily....and it does not matter if you 'break it'....because it is not a permanent install....it will not do any damage to your pc in any way. Pull the usb stick out and reboot it and away you go again.
Nothing to lose and everything to gain.

More about that later
